Business Consultant Québec

I didn't set out to build a consulting practice. I built a career around understanding how people make decisions—especially when the stakes are high.

I started in banking, then spent a decade inside a regulated industry where complexity was part of the job. I worked as a technical advisor, director, and lobbyist—roles that required clarity, discretion, and the ability to move between strategy and execution without losing either. It was an environment where decisions carried weight, and where communication had to hold up under scrutiny.

Alongside that, mentorship became a constant. I volunteered as a Certified Senior Mentor at the Allan Memorial Institute, offering one-on-one support in a setting where listening mattered more than directing, and where progress wasn't always visible, but always meaningful. I later continued that work with Réseau Mentorat, guiding entrepreneurs through the realities of building and growing a business.

Those experiences shaped how I work today.

LaRubie sits at the intersection of both worlds: structured, high-stakes environments and the human side of navigating them. My approach is grounded, direct, and collaborative. I work closely with a limited number of clients who are facing moments that require clarity—whether that's defining direction, realigning a brand, or navigating a complex situation.
